Getting Back in the Swing of Things

I decided to take a bit of a break over the holidays, but it's time to get back to bloggin'!  I read 73 issues of New Warriors over the holidays, so I'll be sharing my thoughts on that next week!

Today is a Great Day

I just discovered a blog dedicated to the Martian Manhunter, "The Idol-Head of Diabolu, a Martian Manhunter Blog".  This is a very happy day.  The Manhunter is one of my favourite characters, and is definitely my favourite DC character! 



I'll have some actual content for my own blog next week, this one has been nuts!

The Dilithium Crystals are Overloaded!

Due to work commitments I am completely swamped most of this week, so I'm afraid I'm not going to have much in the way of thought-provoking posts this week.  I'll get something up each day, but articles will be on hold until next week, including the final entry in the Top 10 Reformed Villains series; in the words and intonation of one of the greatest television shoes ever, Banzai, "Place your bets now!"

Commenting on Blogger

Does anyone else have problems commenting on Blogger blogs?  I visit a few regularly and have had difficulty in leaving responses.  On some if I reply using my Google account it won't send the reply through but when I switch to Name/URL I can get it to work.  Lately on a couple when I click "Send" my reply just vanishes.

I'd assume it's a browser setting but I've had this problem on multiple computers using multiple browsers, do I don't think it's my computer.

Anyone else having this problem, or know how to fix it?  If you have trouble posting a comment about it, e-mail me at capped.crusader@gmail.com.  Thanks!

An Amazing Fantasy

Welcome one and all, well, if I'm being honest, right now I am the "one"...anyway, I'd like to give a big howdy to readers of my new blog!  For awhile now I've wanted a place to share my thoughts on the world of comics, so I thought to myself "Self, git 'er done", and lo' and behold Does Whatever a Comics Blog Can was born.

I want to use this space to share my thoughts on comics.  I read a variety of titles, from Captain America to Fables to Bone, and I will be bouncing around to whatever I want to talk about.  If you're looking for dirt and discussion on the very latest book this probably won't be the place for you, considering I live 2 hours away from my comic shop and cannot get there weekly.  But if you love comics and are looking for discussion about the industry, old favourites, and anything comics related then this could be the place for you.  I can guarantee multiple posts about the Avengers, the Martian Manhunter, and Squirrel Girl, if that helps any.

So I hope you enjoy the read, and I'm always happy to discuss anything I've posted in the comments section!
